An unfortunate turn of events. A decision or action that seems unfair. Being forced to act in accordance with some else's decision.

"I was invited to the party, but now it's Ravers only? That's so cake status." " I'm not aloud to talk to him anymore, since he got in trouble. That's major cake status." "I can't hang out because I have to go to Maryland to visit family. That is totally cake status!"
