(kee' froot) - n. The one apple, pear, or tomato in the stand that, when removed, causes all th e others to tumble forward.

When Alice selected the apple, she inadvertantly pulled the keyfruit, sending the entire display crashing down around her ankles. She was so upset she vomited on the floor of the Kroger produce department.
