The eight long years from Jan. 20, 1981-Jan. 20,1989. The Republican president, Ronald Wilson Reagan worked hard as commander in chief in the war on the middle class. The heinous eCONomic policy called "trickle down economics" or Reganomics cut taxes on the big businesses and the rich. This shifted the tax burden to the middle class and tripled the national debt. Dennis Miller described "trickle down" best when he acknowledged this truth: "they admit it-- they're gonna piss on you!"
Along with the terrible eCONomic policy, Ronald Reagan worked to destroy unions (remember air traffic controllers' strike?) During the Reagan Administration, the U.S. backed Saddam Hussein during his war with Iran and helped to establish the Taliban to help Afganistan fight off the Soviet Union. (Funny how the G.O.P. changed course on this)

Overall, the Reagan Administration was an awful, inept or just plain evil bunch of crooks. The bad effects of this era are still haunting us 20 years later.
The fact that theRepublican Party idolizes Reagan today is mind boggling!

Get the Reagan Administrationmug. An awesome horror fiction writer! Bentley Little was born in Arizona after his mother watched the premiere of Psycho. He is a Bram Stoker Award winner, who can count Stepen King and Dean Koontz as fans.
"A master of the macabre"--Stephen King
"Rock-'em, shock-'em contempory terror fiction" --Dean Koontz

Bentley Little takes on ordinary subjects and exploites and exaggerates their possiblities for nefarious activities. In The Store he looks behind the scenes of a Wal-mart-like mega store and the terrible effects it has on a small town. In The Policy, he looks a the very real scenario of insurance companies controlling and ruining lives. Most of Bentley Little's books are scary because they seem like they actually could happen.

Get the Bentley Littlemug. Elected Governor of Wisconsin in 2010 as part of the Corporate Jihad. In early 2011, he showed the world that he and the Tea Party are very anti-union and are out to destroy unions and all they have achieved. The money grubbing scum obviously holds power over Scott Walker. He claims to be trying to balance the state budget (after his pro-rich/pro-business tax cuts) by cutting state labor costs. The unions and their supporters filled the capitol with demonstrators, which the heartless bastard ignored.

Get the Scott Walkermug. A blue collar traitor is a laborer who supports the G.O.P. Eventhough Republicans are anti-labor and unions support Democrats, some blue collar workers actually vote Republican.
Blue collar workers work hard for their money and they are the backbone of a strong American economy. They actually make stuff (manufacture products, build buildings etc.) many of these laborers belong to unions, so they can help protect each other from greedy corporations.
These blue collar people vote for Democrats because they are the party that supports the working class. The Republicans only look out for the richest 2% of the population and support the big corporations that finance their campaigns.

Congressman John Boehner (R-Ohio) is another kind of blue collar traitor. He grew up in a blue collar family and actually joined the Republican anti-labor party!

Get the blue collar traitormug. U.S. Congressman Joe Barton (R-Texas) was the lead
Republican at the congressional hearings about the bp oil spill.
As his opening remarks with bp's Tony Hayward, he actually apologized to him for President Obama's "harsh treatment." Barton actually said Obama's insisting on bp setting up a $20 Billion victim compensation fund was a "shakedown."
The appropriate shock and awe followed. Even John Boehner was embarrassed and Barton eventually apologized for his own assisnine insensitive stupidity.

Some of Rep. Barton's Republican colleages were surprised to hear he was a bp sympathizer, but many of his corporate owned colleages agreed with him. However if you look at his $1.4 million in campaign contributions from big oil you can begin to understand.

Get the bp sympathizermug. The amount of money American taxpayers have pay to cover the taxes Walmart avoids. This term also applies to the increased drain on taxpayer funded programs by underpaid and uninsured Walmart employees.
Walmart sets up stores in buildings they "rent" from their own shell companies. They pay "rent" to themselves, then deduct it from their taxes. This money grubbing scum scheme helped Walmart avoid $3.39 Billion in state taxes from 1999-2005.
Also taxpayers will pay $9.1 Billion over the next 5 years to cover Walmart employee health care costs. They have almost 800,000 workers without health care coverage. Many of Walmart's employees are forced to use Medicaid or just show up at an emergancy room. This kind of bullshit taxes us all by increasing the cost of healthcare for all of us!

The Walmart tax hurts the whole economy and helps keep them rich while shifting the costs to the people. Their Pro-China attitude towards merchandise hurts American jobs and their heinous tax avoidance schemes also hurt America's bottom line! Here's the real cost of the WalMart Tax-- If WalMart paid all of the taxes they owed in 2005: 318,440 uninsured children would have health coverage; 21,963 elementary school students would have new classrooms; and 9,499 additional police officers could be patrolling our streets! "SAVE MONEY--LIVE BETTER," obviously this doesn't really apply to the shoppers only to the Walmart corporation!

Get the WalMart Taxmug. An awesome, yet little know in U.S.A, 70s metal band. The band, from Cardiff, Whales; had a major impact on metal bands of the 80s and 90s. The sound is a combination of Rush and Black Sabbath. Burke Shelly (bass/vocals), Tony Bourge (guitar), and Ray Phillips (drums). Shelly's voice resembles Getty Lee and Bourge's hard driving guitar riffs resemble Black Sabbath.
Budgie is underrated but very influentual. Metallica is a big fan of Budgie, they even recorded their song "Breadfan."
