In bed.

This phrase is also part of a game where you take any common sentence or title and add "between the sheets." A popular juvenile activity.

The possibilities are endless.
"Romeo and Juliet... between the sheets!"

"The Passion of Christ... between the sheets!"

"The Return of the King... between the sheets!"

decimate 

A frequently misused word.

Decimate literally means to reduce something by a tenth, but many people use it instead to mean "totally destroy." The word "obliterate" would be a better choice than "decimate."

Decimate comes from the root "deci-" which can be found in other words involving ten, "decimal" for example.
When I decimated the cookies I ate ten out of the hundred-cookie batch.

Joe decimated the rock collection by getting rid of one tenth of the rocks.

comestibles

Items of food. Something you consume. Often associated with potables.
Joe likes to masticate his comestibles.

potables 

Things that you can drink, like water or juice. "Potable water" means you can drink it without harm. Often used when referring to alcohol.

Sometimes used in combination, "comestibles and potables."
That bar has plenty of fine potables, we should go over there after the fighter sweep Friday night.

fighter pilot 

A military pilot who flies fighter aircraft.

Can be: a wild individual who isn't afraid to take risks and usually can put away a wide variety of potables.

A fun guy to have at a party.
Some of the best fighter pilots around are Marine fighter pilots.
A word that is used to describe the main control of an airplane, whether it's stick shaped or not. A "stick" can be a wheel, or a yoke, as well as a traditional stick.

The stick is used to move the ailerons and elevator, which controls the pitch and roll axes of an airplane.

To be "hot on the stick" is to be really good at flying an airplane or helicopter.
The stick in that biplane is made out of really nice mahogany...
