triplet

A note in music that is 1/3 of a beat. Also called 12th notes(8th note triplets) or 24th notes(16th note triplets).

In 4/4 time:
8th note triplet = 1/12 measure
16th note triplet = 1/24 measure

recalc

Short for recalculate. It is usually used to describe the act of recalculating a score for In The Groove to account for pad errors.

I got a 98%, recalcs to 99% with the pad misses.

squared

1. A number that is multiplied by itself(to the 2nd power)
2. To a higher degree, used as an intensifier.

4 is 2 squared.
That calculus test was hard squared.
