Fronted by Ian Anderson (the flute-playing, codpiece-wearing badass), this band is behind the brilliance of songs such as "Aqualung" and "Locomotive Breath" as well as the concept album "Thick as a Brick."

Kamau Kambon is a former North Carolina State University visiting professor of African-American Studies.
He is probably most famous (or notorious) for a speech delivered October 14, 2005, at Howard University, urging genocide of whites, saying, "We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet to solve this problem of racial injustice." Footage of this speech is readily available as of July 14, 2006, and was apparently aired on C-SPAN (author realizes no one watches C-SPAN).
He supports his argument by calling the modern world an "international plantation," with each white man a plantation owner. He claims that all whites want to rape and kill blacks, citing "Pulp Fiction" as evidence of white bloodlust (this citation confuses the author, who does not understand what segment of the film Mr. Kambon is alluding to).
Mr. Kambon has a website (author does not know what the politically correct term for Mr. Kambon's association with said website--ownership, ) at www.blacknificent.com. The website seems devoid of any statements regarding genocide, instead offering links and inspirational tidbits about African-American culture, legacy, struggle and history.

I don't know 'bout you, but to me Kamau Kambon just proves that you don't have to be white to be a racist dick.
To any black people: I am white, and I don't want to kill you. You go do your thing, I'll go do mine, and we can all get along and maybe later we can do something fun, like clearcutting in Brazil or playing tag around Chernobyl or something. And won't that be fun?

Peter Finch's character in "Network." The first man killed because he had bad ratings. The mad prophet of the airwaves.
Author's note: If you're reading this, you probably know who Howard Beale is. The author just thought the character deserved some recognition.

Apparently, an "extension" of the lips created when a face's cheeks are cut from the corners of the mouth to the ear, leaving a scar.

Tommy Flanagan, who played Cicero in "Gladiator" and Morrison in "Braveheart," has had a so-called glaswegian smile ever since being mugged at a pub at which he was employed.

A planned Who concept album/rock opera similar to "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia" which was never totally realized. Many of the songs ("Baba O'Riley," "Behind Blue Eyes," "Join Together") were eventually released.
No one knows what it's like....
