Struggle Bald

"Struggle Bald" refers to an individual who experiences hair loss, specifically a receding hairline or thinning follicles, and employs various methods to conceal or mitigate the effects of balding. This term humorously captures the endeavors made by someone to create an illusion of having a full head of hair despite the evident signs of hair loss.

Generally, a person who is a “struggle bald" engages in different tactics to mask their thinning hair. This may involve the regular use of beanies, hats, or even resorting to hairstyles such as ponytails, all with the intent of fooling others into believing they possess a thick head of hair. These strategies are often temporary measures aimed at projecting a youthful and intact hairline.
Person A: "Did you notice how Steve always wears a beanie, even indoors?"
Person B: "Yeah, he's definitely a ‘struggle bald.' He's doing everything he can to hide that receding hairline.”
Person A: “Struggling baldly to keep up the facade."
