interwatch

Watching a TV Show, Movie, or video over the internet at the same time as someone else so that you can chat about it as you watch it.

Interstate 5

Finished in 1979, Interstate 5 was designed to be the world's largest parking lot, and from the get-go was an immediate success, offering spaces for millions of vehicles for cities and services stretching along the West Coast from Canada to Mexico.

One of the lot's biggest criticisms is the fact that it offers spaces that go through national forest land, the remote west side of the Central Valley, and over mountain passes despite lack of services and weather hazards, and as such these parts are very rarely used throughout the year. Wasted space is such a problem, in fact, that many people use it as a highway at speeds up to 70 MPH in these places in spite of its intended purpose. Uniquely for a parking lot, it also has problems with people trying to smuggle drugs and people in from both Canada and Mexico. Despite this, in urban areas it continues to be highly successful, and puts ordinary parking lots the world over to shame.
I left my car on Interstate 5 for two hours and hey, it was still there! There's also always construction, so, you know, the parking is always better and less bumpy! Maybe!

Intersectionality

Enough with these long and overly rambly definitions. Intersectionality is a sociological concept that simply denotes how one's race, gender, and socioeconomic class is all interconnected with each other. Simple as that.

Likewise, the term can also denote how race, gender, and class are NOT separate categories, but rather is like a system of categories that are linked to one another.

What this basically means is that a person's identity, and how it may be used to discriminate against them, is multidimensional and depends on the sum of all those aspects (race, gender, class). For example, in the 1950s, the common discourse back then was that black people are being treated unfairly. But what people don't realize at the time was that black women are being treated more unfairly than black men.

So, that is what Intersectionality is in a nutshell. It does not mean anything else, and it should not mean anything else. It is not a derogatory word used to express hatred. It is not political leftist jargon. It is does not originate from Marxist thought. It is not used to express one's 'privilege' over another. So please stop attributing these irrelevant and slandering aspects to this rather insightful term!
Victor: Dang, my sociology prof gave us a super woke lecture on intersectionality.
Chad: Intersectionality? Sounds like another one of those cringey buzzwords used by feminists and SJWs
Victor: Lol, well I hate the break it to you but ur more than wrong. It's a very useful and helpful concept. You only think it's cringey because of the few bitter women who wrongfully use it as a retort in Twitter debates.
Chad: Lol whatever, idc
Victor: Then why'd you even ask???

Intersectional Shakedown

Protection racket where disadvantaged groups, whether real or perceived, sell protection from false hate accusations for concessions from others.
What?! They wouldn't accept you in to college because your test scores are bad? Just give them the intersectional shakedown and tweet that it was racism, sexism and homophobia.

circle intersection theory

The awkward situation one gets into when you meet a certain circle of friends (whom you've not seen in some time) when your hanging out with a different set. There is nothing common between the two circles and your forced to introduce each other and spend the rest of the nite togather.
Most common would be school/college/office/girlfriend/family circles . Your stuck on
#1 :' Man, was it awkward running into Joe and the gang from school when I was with my office collegues..total circle intersection theory
