Words you can keep

Philosophical Moderate

An individual who does not allow emotions to over take facts, while at the same time not allowing facts to minimize how someone else feels. They are open to discussions, ideas and conversations; and view debates as useful friction. All facets of life are contextual, however, with classic modes of being, trends and stories that can be used as sign posts or guidance (See pragmatism, and stoicism).
James never lost his temper when someone shared a differing opinion from his own. After all he was a philosophical moderate and relished diverse thoughts.

moderate muslim

A Muslim who wants a radical Muslim to kill the non muslims.
Most of the moderate Muslims never actually condemns the killings done by radical Muslims as the killings are already justified as per the commandments of their Allah.

moderate rebels

The term is derived from the term "Moderate Terrorists"

A moderate rebel is a insurgent that is not classifed as a terrorist because they are not against the US and its allies.
They use the same tactics, the same weapons and the same reasons. They help make shooting people a mess of paperwork for the soldiers involved.
Moderate Rebel: Today we go martyr brothers for allah!
Obama: Oh my god, a terrorist!
Moderate Rebels: Lets go bomb Bashar!
Obama: Oh, that's ok then. *Gives guns*

moderate conservative hedonism

moderate conservative hedonism", "mch" for short, is a term used to broadly describe the weltanschauung -- sociopolitical & otherwise --of any well-bred gentleman, scholar, bonvivant, & gourmand before the death of old europe.

mch is characterized by a propensity for the general enjoyment of life. -- within a certain moderation, Μηδὲν ἄγαν, & with a keen eye for the tradition.

though the mch outlook has declined since the death of old europe, some men, like roberto calasso or gerard depardieu, remain true to the old ways.

expressions of mch in the heritage of europe are too numerous to count, though here is a list of some quintessentials:

wine, the delphic maxims, cheese, decadent plates of cold cuts, fruit, & marzipan, observance of the faith, rococo painting & second empire furniture, death in venice, sonnets to the fishermen of capri, a gallon of beer a day, hatred of taxes, an aloof & cosmopolitan view of things (in particular in matters culinary & poetic), the study of botany, ornithology, monteverdi's madrigals, chess, collections of old cookbooks, gambling (but not too much), an interest in pencils, coffeehouse brawling, orientalism, a fine assortment of various rare teas, liberatory book theft, quoting vauvenargues at the cute cashier in the store, hiking, opening a beauty salon in the ruins of the lotus-land, foie gras for breakfast.

Si bene qui cenat bene vivit, lucet, eamus
quo ducit gula, piscemur, venemur!
(Horace)
example a)
person 1: I watched an episode of gerard depardieu's europe last night. he talked about cheese for half an hour.
person 2: yes, he's a true moderate conservative hedonist.

example b)
person 1: how do you interpret horace's epistle to numicius?
person 2: i think wieland is right in his commentary when he says that the epistle is about finding the ways of moderate conservative hedonism.

moderate

1) a sane person;
2) someone with a political belief that sits between the two extremes of liberal and conservative, usually combining aspects of both (example: liberal on social issues yet conservative on economic issues);
3) someone who seeks compromise on political issues and as such gets insulted by the two extremes who just don't get the idea that this form of government survives by compromise;
4) someone whose political beliefs seem quiet and mild, and as such always ignored by the media, which seeks out people from the screechy Left and shrill Right because they make for better sound bites.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
