Monk

An incredibly good show starring Tony Shaloub. Sharona used to be Monk's assistant but she left and now his assistant is Natalie :-( But its still the funniest show on. Monk is afraid of milk, dogs, germs, small spaces, elevators, kids and birth. He is OCD and needs everything to be perfect. His wife, Trudy died in a car bomb accident and he will never be the same. Hes funny though, and so is everyone else on the show.

It's a jungle out there, disorder and confusion everywhere.........

The Monks

A short lived yet kick-ass Garage rock band and one of the earliest forms of punk in Rock N Roll history. Made up of five upstanding American GI soldiers stationed in Germany, this band are a hidden gem if there ever was one. Their radically different look compared to other bands of the time came by dressing like Catholic Monks and having the scalps of their heads shaved. Their first and only album release titled 'Black Monk Time', recorded in 1965, is an underground classic, featuring songs like "Complication" and "Shut Up". Their lyrics touched on subjects of the time such as opposition to the Vietnam War. They were the anti-Beatles before anybody else was!

John: The UK punk band of the late seventies?
Mikey: No, I mean the cool and original one from the mid sixties that secretly made the first ever punk rock record? Give it a listen...
