Edmund Fitzgerald

When a turd is so long that it cannot support itself and breaks in half between waves like the fabled ore carrier.
Man, I feel so much better. After eating that cheese log and peanut butter last night and washing it down with Budweiser, I just launched an "Edmund Fitzgerald".

Chesterfield, MO

A pretty boring city near St. Louis. It has a pretty diverse population, and a lot of restaurants and businesses, so you'll probably never be bored of what you eat. The schools there are pretty good. The most interesting thing that happened there was a lady shot herself in the foot at a Pfizer research place and blamed it on an imaginary gunman. Some residents jokingly refer to it as "Chestahhood."
DELPHI: I'm from Chesterfield, MO.
PERSON: Oh, that place where the crazy lady shot herself in the foot?

Ivor Bangor

A person usually from North Wales in the UK, who is a Gay man.

Ivor comes from the Welsh meaning "Tower of manhood" and Bangor is a small town on the coast of Gwynedd. The two together "Ivor" and "Bangor" were twinned about two hundred years ago when Bangor became a center for learning in Wales. A large population of middle class Gay men became the "Bangor Dandys" which was changed in the book 'How Green Is My Valley?' in the middle of the 20th century.
"He is the only Ivor Bangor in the village" or "I knew he was an Ivor Bangor by the way he walked" or "she was married first to an Ivor Bangor but that didnt last".

Yugiboomer

Describes a certain demographic of people who watched the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Series on TV, and played casually with friends during the initial popularity. These are people who complain about broken cards and mechanics, the competitive scene, and long card text of modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards when:

1. Cards around that era were arguably just as broken, if not more so. A good portion of cards on the Forbidden and Limited List (a list that restricts certain cards from being used in official tournaments) came out during the "ol' days" yugiboomers mention, and have never came off since.

2. Even during the initial launch of the card game, there was always a metagame. It was never JUST invented. There were always cards that were better than others, even back then (Ex: The 1900 Attack Gemini Elf was objectively better than the 1850 Attack Mechanicalchaser).

3. Card text is longer in modern Yu-Gi-Oh, but is infinitely easier to understand. This was due to a lot of unnecessary bloat in older card text, especially during the series' heyday. Some cards would have text that was completely unnecessary, or even not tell you entirely what the card did (Ex: the first few prints of Waboku did not say your monsters could not be destroyed in battle, even tho it was ruled to be that way in official tournaments and in video games).

While some complaints of modern Yu-Gi-Oh are exclusive to modern times, a lot of others were also there since the beginning as well.
