The state of companies and individuals who build systems for, create media for, and consume media from online user generated media platforms in terms of the supply of media, related services, related goods and the transfer of money.

The new membership system on YouTube will be great for the Creator Economy as it allows individuals who create valuable content to accept fees for their work directly from their fan base.
