A school that has been around since 1888. An elementary and middle school that is used as an escape from Concord's run down public schools. You often see kids running around on the playground, I mean parking lot. This school has a roster of new teachers every year because the teachers see the ceiling crumble and make the smart decision and get the out of the building. By the time the school year starts they still haven't filled three teaching slots and you have a whole day of study halls until they can fill the slots. All in all the school sucks but has been there for "Generations after Generations."
Welcome to St. John Regional School . The dump of Concord NH.
A special chicken curry (gravy dish) made of fresh chicken and basic spices. Muslim boatmen, plying boats along the riverine bengal-assam border of India (when the country was a British colony), used to make this dish. The boatment would take time off to cook a meal for themselves in the middle of the river journey and gradually it became popular with the passengers too.
To my grandfather, simple life was sailing down the river with a plate of rice and steaming goalondo steamer curry.
A Fulip is an orange, this is the true name of the fruit known as the Orange.
The name was invented to solve the problem of the one name/word having two meanings.
"Lemons are Yellow, Fulips are Orange, how can one be a fruit and a colour"
Loosely related with Spatula Day mythology
"I Would like my walls painted the coulour of this orange" says Dorita
"Thats a Fulip" says Gerald "You want your walls painted orange"
"Lemons are Yellow, Fulips are Orange, how can one be a fruit and a colour!"
