Windows Update Ambush - the moment at the end of a work day, when you're ready to leave the office and so click Shut Down on your Windows laptop. Then suddenly a message appears on screen saying, "Installing update 1 of 13, do not unplug your computer." Effectively ambushes you at the end of the day leaving you unable to take your laptop and leave, or continue working, for another 15-30 mins.

Friend: Dude, you're late!
You: Sorry bro, WUA just as I was trying to leave the office ...
Friend: Ah, I get it. That sucks balls, dude.
