One creates an extremely obscure joke on any form of media (like Reddit) in order to make some idiots who doesn't get the joke comment under it and post said comments to the dreaded subreddit of r/woooosh.

if you want to r/woooosh somebody for the karma, you can effectively set up a trap, saying something half sarcastically, or in a way that has concealed the joke very well.
Bob: I think Josh is a great person
Steve: dude you are so wrong Josh is an awful person you are so wrong you suck.
Bob: r/woooosh
John: Wow Bob just totally wooooshbaited you. He is a true master at wooooshbaiting
