The standard native language of a country or locality.

The everyday language spoken by a people as distinguished from the literary language.

A variety of such everyday language specific to a social group or region: the vernaculars of New York City.

The idiom of a particular trade or profession: in the legal vernacular.

An idiomatic word, phrase, or expression.

The common, nonscientific name of a plant or animal.
An example of "southern" vernacular:

"I'm fixing to do that." Meaning, "I am going to do that, without a doubt. But not yet."

a very unique girl just as the name is.She's smart, kind, loving, sweet and simply amazing. She is attractive; beautiful inside and out but needs to recognise and bring out her inner gifts as she is kind of timid. She often spends her time in deep thoughts about life so can often be indecisive as she tries hard to do the right thing. This girl values and aims to seek true love and friendships more than anything else in the world. Knowing a Vernaly is a very wonderful and unique experience.
This girl, Vernaly gives me a very new and positive perceptive of females. No wonder this name is so rare.
I'm really happy and blessed to have Vernaly as a friend...she's soo sweet

Vernaly is quite dreamy and emotional.

vernacularosaurus

A term used for when vernacular speaking habits of a group become epic enough in both usage and strangeness as to be considered dinosaur sized in their impact and magnitude. Frequent Woody Allen or Monty Python quotes are often a tell tale sign of the modern vernacularosaurus language at it's best.
lizzie: El Oh El Okay Smiley face is perfectly acceptable in modern business parlance

James: that's totally the Vernacularosaurus!
