Australian slang for pot-holders, especially the kind that come with portable metho stoves (like a Trangia).

Bob: This campfire's a beauty! Whack the soup on! Wait, Davo, did you bring your spondonicles?

Davo: I thought you were bringing the spondonicles!

Bob: How are we going to pick up our pots now?!
