Shitrats won't fight unless there are at least ten times as many of them. Shitrats have little regard for other people, preferring to talk down to anyone and everyone, even their shitrat friends. Shitrats usually mature into junkies. The term originated in St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia.

Shitrate is a noun used to describe a bitrate which is shit. It can be used to describe extremely low quality audio or video, or simply a very poor internet connection
