"sadding" is a word used by people who don't know the existence of the word "saddening" or, are too confident that "sadding" is a real word.

Person 1: It's very sadding that my mom died.

Person 2: Umm what? Do you mean "saddening"? "Sadding" is not a real word.
Person 1: OMG! How can you be so rude? My mom died, have some sympathy!

Quick Sanding

The act of showing too much interest in another person making you appear desperate and less desirable to them. The term "Quick Sanding" is referring to if you were standing in quick-sand trying to get out- the harder you try the quicker you will sink.

Her: "I tried calling him, texting him, even went to dinner with his mom. Then I tried to add him on Facebook. I still haven't got any response. I know....I will try texting him again!"
Person listening to her: "You are Quick Sanding so bad right now- Please just stop!"

Sodding

Very mild adjective, roughly the same obscenity level as "darned" or "bloody". For some obscure reason, Americans (who use the word "sodding" to mean putting turf (or sod) down in your garden) have got the impression that it is of about the same obscenity level as "f***ing" whereas it is not uncommon to hear your elderly aunt, who wouldn't dream of saying "shit", use it.

Blimey, it's sodding cold today - or - has anyone seen my sodding keys?
