some-one who thinks that they are super intellectual and who actually goes around telling people (that they are just that) when in fact they are basically just insecure, neurotic and self-obsessed.
Man I know your sister went to Uni and everything but why's she have to be so "quasi-intelligencia-nervosa" ?
Is that what I'm going to become if I go to Sydney Uni......a "quasi-intelligencia-nervosa" ?

an explanation, excuse, or presentation created through the knowledge of quasi-related topics to give the impression of being knowledgeable on a specific subject. Common tactic of the bullshit artist and other intelligent lairs
I forgot to read the textbook chapter and my teacher called on me, so I so I made some quasi-intelligent bullshit out of the previous chapter and some random knowledge I had.

A dilettante who is interested in libertarianism, but would more often than not break with the philosophy, politics, and economics of libertarianism for supposed compassionate reasoning ; that comes from an opposing camp. They're a believer in the political doctrine that is libertarianism which emphasizes individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation, intervention, and oversight both in matters of the economy and in personal behavior where no one’s rights are being violated or threatened. Yet they are quick to cede their beliefs to appease opposing camps or to maintain supposed good optics.
This compassionate quasi-libertarian is oft associated with girouettism The practice of frequently altering one's views and opinions to follow current trends, bandwagonism The tendency to jump on the bandwagon, i.e. to join a craze or trend, sometimes for profit, or with someone who is dangerously softhearted or affrighted to argue into the weeds about into the trade offs, consequentialism, rule utilitarianism, etc.

The compassionate quasi-libertarian was scared to mention the third variable effect where this "Z" that wasn't mentioned in the study the debaters were discussing was more likely to influence "A" rather than "B" that was mentioned in the study, but the compassionate qusai-libertarian was scarred that he'd be accused of not wanting to help "A"; albeit, in his heart he believes that intervening with "B" wouldn't help "A" and if only the got around to intervening with "Z" instead of "B" than everything would be swell.

Guy 1: Did you see that guy with his opinions on the government? Even he doesn't know what he wants!
Guy 2: Yea, I think he supports quasi-pseudo-antidisestablishmentarianism

The word you use when you want to describe something with a random assortment of letters that isn't actually random. Taken word-for-word, it means that something is semi-craptastical, which can be used to describe almost anything.
This word started as graklplaxl, but was Mike'd repeatedly until it (d)evolved into quasi-craptasticalgraklplaxlishness.
