1. A disease that is found in cats and other animals which makes the cat have extra fingers or thumbs. It is fairly common in cats.

Some person:"Holy shit! your cat has thumbs!"
Me:"yeah, its polidactyl"

polydactyl

In animals including humans, polydactyly (or polydactylism, also known as hyperdactyly) is the anatomical abnormality of having more than the usual number of digits on the hands or feet. Must be extra appendages, like a human being born with 11+ fingers or however much outside the genetic norm.

My cat has 2 extra toes on each paw! So being polydactyl makes you a mutant! Fuckin creepy!

I and my friend are both polydactyl and we both have 7 fingers on each hand and 7 toes on each foot!
