Spending hours online obsessively combing Google links for information about someone you have just met in order to unearth everything about them, including resume, driver's license, arrest record, and photos of them doing shots at their college fraternity formal. Often leads to revelations that derail a budding relationship.
That guy I met last night texted me this morning to ask me how I got arrested for indecent exposure in college. I texted back that I had led a nudist anti-fur protest, but how did he know about it? He texted back admitting that he'd spent all night Googling me. I texted back that he was overgoogling.

The act of googling a person, place or thing to the point of where you get too much information. With this overage of information, you gain information you wish you had not and lose interest. Your original intent of googling them is no longer material.
