Light novel syndrome

When an anime gets adapted from a light novel, and the anime ends too abruptly with very little closure. Often, the anime will not get another season and it ends on an odd cliff hanger.
Notable examples that suffer from light novel syndrome are "Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", "No Game, No Life", and "Spice and Wolf."
I loved "Overlord" but it suffers from light novel syndrome. We haven't even seen other humans yet!

based on the novel Push by Sapphire

When something is so enormous a single word or two cannot describe it, it must be named and then followed by a long, irritating subtitle that must be repeated every time the original object is mentioned.
I just took a shit so big it was based on the novel Push by Sapphire.

Sob Novel

A long winded, emotional fueled text message that is painful to read and just shear complaining. It often spans over multiple screen shots.
So a man got out of the shower and walked over to check his phone. It contained many text messages from his girlfriend complaining about some negative bullshit to which he replayed: "What the fuck is this sob novel."

Simon Hanslow Novel

A mythical unpublished work that is poorly written and full of preposterous ideas and subplots, all characters in such pulp fiction are based on actual people who the author wishes to control like some sick kid playing with dolls.
"This is like something straight from the pages of a Simon Hanslow Novel."

"This has more plot holes and mistakes than a Simon Hanslow Novel!"

"Have you seen Jenny's diary? It's like a Simon Hanslow Novel!"
