nmcu stands for “netflix marvel cinematic universe”. typically used when referring to shows “Daredevil”, “Luke Cage”, “Jessica Jones”, “Ironfist”, “The Punisher”, and “The Defenders”. These shows were originally produced as a part of netflix, however as of February 28, 2022 will be removed from the service.
