When a person is assumed to be another gender than their gender identify and/ or expression, through someone's actions,thoughts,etc.
The transgender alliance experienced alot of misgendering from cis people.

Positive Misgendering 

positive misgendering.

using the wrong term, maam even if its a he/him or anything similar, or sir even if its a she/her or anything similar. this only applies if its in a joke and used purely for comedy, both sides must be comfortable and fine with this or else it's negative.
(male) person 1: show an example of positive misgendering.
person 2: maam, this is a Wendy's

Stealthie 

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
