A Filipino slang word/term that means stealing,
The word "Minarcos" derives from Ferdinand E. Marcos and his family (the Marcos family), who ruled as a dictator/president of the Republic of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986. He and his family were notoriously known to not only be murderers or killers of thousands of people and torturers of seventy thousands of people, but also as one of the most top notch corrupt people in the world. Earning Ferdinand E. Marcos himself in 2nd place in the Guinness Book of World Records as having the "greatest robbery of a government" in the entire world.
The corruption of the Marcoses devastated the entire Philippines and it's generations to come.
Hence, on why Leni-Kiko supporters and Anti-Marcoses made up the "Minarcos" to describe or to refer something that is stealed or stolen, because of the Marcoses' legacy of literally stealing/being thieves and then being rich.
There are also other multiple but heavily unpopular verbal renditions or versions of Minarcos in Tagalog/Filipino to fit Tagalog sentences even more evenly and fittinfly:
For example, Namarcos, Nimarcos, Pamarcos, Pinamarcos etc.
