Karuna is compassion.
As you meet friends, silently wish them these blessings:
Karuna – may you be free from suffering.
Metta – may you be free from danger, happy, peaceful, strong, healthy, and have ease of being.
Mudita – may your wisdom and goodness ever increase.
Upekha – although I have these wishes for you, you are the heir to your own karma. Your happiness depends on your own actions and not my wishes for you.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
