Jaatamean

Share definition Flag
Irish (possibly just in cork, i havent checked!) word meaning: Do you know what I mean?...d'ya know what I mean...the 'what' part is just kind of skipped over and the 'I' is pronounced as a quick 'a' sound (as in 'ah' not 'ay')...Jaatamean is how you say it but i suppose it could be spelled 'dyaatamean' too. I've never seen it written down but it's commonly used in speech in cork/ireland?
1st person: "I think that's bad buzz what she did to him...he didnt deserve that jaatamean?'
2nd person: "I know ya." (also common phrase to use!)
