hit the rock

an expression said when greeting an acquaintance or congratulating said acquaintance for a remarkable deed. hitting the rock is slowly replacing shaking hands as it is quicker, more hygienic & can be performed several times in a meeting (because of its brevity, it does not seem excessive when performed multiple times).

To properly hit the rock, one must say "...hit the rock." Then extend one's fist & gently touch the other party's clenched fist.
Yo, dude, hit the rock!

Hey, this rock isn't gonna hit itself!

Eeeyy, nice one, hit the rock!

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.
