a person (typically male) who stands by and watches another/others struggling to do something and does not help or lend a hand, but does offer unsolicited advice on how it should be done or could better be accomplished

When a guy does a superficial search and proclaims that he can't find the lost object which is exactly where he looked.

He did a guysearch for the tissues, and announced they were nowhere in sight. She pointed out that they were directly in front of him, under the book he had earlier put on top of them.
