Gamercentrism

Gamercentrism is similar to ethnocentrism in that a gamer refuses to try a new game. "Gamercentrists" state that the game they are currently playing is better than any game currently in existence as well as in the future.
PAN Kanassa says: Is anyone going to try out that new Warhammer game?

PAN Jupiter says: Aren't you defeating the purpose of playing WOW, *Noob*!

Used in a sentence:

PAN Jupiter's gamercentrism has caused him to ignore any future PC game release dates or calendars.

or

PAN Kanassa's attempts at pushing low quality games on other hardcore gamers increase the likelihood of gamercentrism.

You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
