Eschatology is the study of the various end of times religious beliefs. In some religions the Eschaton is the bringer of the end of times.

In truth his divorce was eschatonic.

From eschatology, the philosophy of end of times or latter days, and hieros, meaning holy or priest, thus eschatohierophobia means a pathological fear of or an unreasoning hatred towards the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members, including splinter and apostate groups.

Opponents of California Proposition 8 singled out the Latter-day Saints for payback, though the proposition would have passed without them. The opponents need professional help to deal with their eschatohierophobia.
