The process of becoming a DILF or DILF-like. Is not limited to literal fathers, applicable to any man as long as they are grown adults who have shown immense physical maturation and acted as a paternal figure within that period.

Trent Dilfer
Someone he calls himself a "Super Bowl Champion" even though he was the biggest detriment to his team. Tim Tebow could out throw him. He also spent all of his money buying his own Super Bowl ring because the organization said he didn't deserve one so he now spends 20 hours a day on ESPN. The best part about Trent is that he actually believes he was a good quarterback and has knowledge of the game.
"Hey what's on ESPN?" "Oh nothing just Trent Dilfer talking about what it takes to be a QB even though he has no idea."

DILFism
1st Definition: The theory surrounding the proper classification of a man as a "DILF".
2nd Definition: A disease which alters the mind into finding men over the age of 38 attractive.
Commonly found in young adults, DILFism affects one's perception of a "hot person". To classify someone as a DILF, they must meet the three requirements of a) having children, b) being over the age of 38, and/or c) having played OR been a father.
Symptoms of DILFism include:
- "simping" or feeling a sensation of ovulation when presented with an attractive older man
- strong romantic and/or sexual feelings towards men that a) have children, b) are over the age of 38, or c) have played a dad in a movie, TV show, Grammarly commercial, etc.
- finding geriatric or men over the age of 38 attractive
- creating a worshipping site for a man classified as a "DILF"
- and much, much, MUCH more

Striver
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.
The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.
The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
