A predominantly southern variation of the word "children", meaning juvenile persons either in the literal or figurative sense. It is the plural form of chile.

A name you use for a child. Like how doggo has replaced dog, and birb has replaced birb, chillen had replaced child/children.
“Hey mom, isn’t it time to put the chillens to bed?”

(To a younger sibling) “what an adorable little chillen you are”
(noun or verb-depending on linking verb supplied)-Random stragglers on who are doing nothing, but climb out of the woodwork randomly; To do general hangage and relaxation with little or no effort
(noun example)- The mall was empty until they announced they were giving free samples, and then all the chillens showed up.

(verb example)-
Do you have to work this weekend?
Nah, we should do chillens.
