A common slang phrase in America used to describe a continuation of thought and expression. Initially replacing the Latin "Et cetera", which turned into "etcetera", which abbreviated to "etc." and no one knew what it meant anymore, it was quickly replaced with the emphatical "blah blah blah".

"I wasn't sleeping right, the breathing strips didn't help, blah blah blah...so I got drunk and took Theraflu and Nyquil."
