BARB-poh-steeng (verb): A form of satirical online communication in which a commenter writes frequently misspelled words in ALL CAPS akin to politically conservative tech-illiterate divorced men from the Baby Boomer generation. Most commonly seen under thirst traps posted by female celebrities (typically local news anchors), in which the names "BARB" and "DEB" are used interchangeably to make pleas to an ex-wife who may or may not be reading.
"The replies to the selfie Channel 3's anchor posted were full of Barbposting, it was just hundreds of comments like 'BARB IF YOU ARE READING THIS I STOPPED WATCHING FARD ON BORTHDAY CZKE VIDEOS' and 'COM BSCK DEB I JUST WABT TO TALK'"

When someone posts a comment in the way in which an elderly person would, usually in a lighthearted parody of how older people communicate online. This style originates mainly from the group "Please show to Jim ! ! HA ! ! HA ! !" The style includes All-Caps, misspelling, religious/bigoted references, lack of self-awareness, and old slang.
