A wuzband is a has-been husband and it's a great way to refer to your "Ex". Wuzband embodies a touch of humor and you and your friends don't have to honor him with his given name. He was my "huz," and now he's my "wuz." I "were his wife," and now I'm his "werf." We are happily "wuzband and werf." There is no derogatory intent to this definition. It is simply a way to speak of a former spouse without the typical negative baggage associated with "ex."
