• an overly-dramatic text message designed with the sole purpose of dragging uninvolved individuals helplessly into a inescapable vortex of emotion and angst.

verb (trans.)

• the act of sending text messages out to friends to recruit further unnecessary drama for your side of a negative situation.

person #1: "Ross keeps vortexting me about how Karen walked out on him last night, when he KNOWS that we've never even met."

person #2: "Shoot girl, you know he's just tryin' to get you involved in that personal trash he has going for himself every week. You better ignore it."
