Virtuejacking

The act of taking a message, campaign, or idea meant to uplift or inspire — hijacking its original virtue — twisting it into a cheap shot, and then presenting it as if you’re offering some elevated or “deeper” insight.
“That’s pure virtuejacking — taking something positive, warping it to score points, then pretending it’s a higher truth.”
