A child without a parent is an orphan, a husband without a wife is a widow, a parent without a child is a vilomah.

Vilomah 

n. A parent who has lost a child. From the sans script "out of natural order". Also means unnatural, since parents are not supposed to have to bury their children.

A child that looses their parents is an orphan. A parent that looses a child is a vilomah.
