Terrarhombic
A syllepsis: A geographical/geological space, split into four equal sides, and a figurative expression to deem one’s capacity immobile within a space; an ambivalent paralysis within a quadrant of time and space.
Example 1 (literal): An island, surrounded by four equally opposed islands on all sides.
Example 2 (philosophical/metaphysical): The feeling of being trapped in a room but simultaneously being pulled towards four different equally opposed doors on either side of the room; a feeling of transfixation.
The four-sided nature of a rhombus represents an equilibrium that causes paralysis. “Four equally opposed doors” creates a net force of zero, perfectly capturing the feeling of being stuck despite having options; a paralysis caused by four-way symmetry

Example 1: The archipelago exhibited a rare terrarhombic formation: a central sandbar held in stasis by four surrounding islands at each cardinal point.
Example 2: She was struck by a terrarhombic indecision, transfixed at the centre of four competing destinies that the family estate had forced upon her.
