Shepherdess Era

That time in every rich woman’s life when they feel the urge to bake sourdough, grow organic garlic and decant perfectly good snacks into cellophane bags tied with hessian string.

Refers to Marie Antoinette’s stint as a shepherdess when French aristocrats acted out the “simple life” while still retaining their social position.
