SCP = "Secure, Contain, Protect" or "Special Containment Procedures". The SCP foundation is a "secret" organization attempting to contain all anomalous objects and entities. SCPs are divided into 3 main classes.

Safe = An object that does not pose a threat and are easy and secure to contain.
Euclid = An object that poses a threat or has more complicated or difficult containment procedures.
Keter = An object that poses a great threat or/and have very difficult and unreliable containment procedures.

The SCP foundation has dozens of Safe facilities and thousands of SCPs in containment.
Safe: SCP-1499 is a Soviet GP-5 gas mask. The anomalous effects of SCP-1499 activate when a human places SCP-1499 on their head. Approximately one second after SCP-1499 is fully secured on the subject's head, the subject vanishes from view, and is no longer detectable. Upon wearing SCP-1499, test subjects report completely different surroundings than they were in prior to wearing SCP-1499. Subjects have reported that it appears barren and inhospitable, with tall black towers filling the area. Subjects have also sighted entities in this landscape. These entities, designated SCP-1499-1, have been described as tall, nude humanoids with dark skin. Upon removing SCP-1499 from their head, subjects reappear in the same location they were in when they put it on.

Euclid: SCP-173 is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation

Keter: SCP-217 is a virus, incurable by current means, with a rate of infectivity at 100%. The progress of the infection is very slow, with some subjects going several years before manifesting any symptoms. SCP-217 alters the biochemistry of organic tissue, causing organic matter to re-arrange into a form of “organic metal”. A subject will begin to turn into a complex arrangement of gears and clockwork, these taking over for the former biological functions.

A fictional series of objects based on three separate classes, Safe, Euclid, and Keter. Safe classes are objects who aren't considered dangerous or deadly in any way. Euclid classes are unpredictable and can be dangerous when not watched. Lastly, Keter classes are dangerous to man and could possibly be dangerous enough to obliterate humanity. There is a range of 3000 different objects and each one is unique in its own way. Some of these objects are unknown but others have been fully released.
STF: Hey did we check on SCP-0173?
NTF: Uhhh... Well we're screwed.
STF: Yep. Wasn't it a keter?
NTF: Well Earth is doomed.

SCP stands for "Secure, contain, protect." The SCP Foundation has multiple sites to contain dangerous anomalies that may pose a threat to the world. The SCP Anomalies has classes. There are 3 classes: 1.Safe. Safe is a class that is easier to contain. However, It does not mean that it does not pose a threat. 2.Euclid. Euclid needs more needs to contain the object in a chamber. 3.Keter. Keter classes can easily escape from their containment chambers. In an event of a containment breach, They need to be re-contained.

Stoner Check Point - An SCP is an area to smoke weed at. It's used to make subtle hints to a let other stoners who are of the knowledge of this word where you want to go smoke. Typically SCPs are found in the woods or in a somewhat secret area where getting caught in the act of smoking is slim. However, if you have many SCPs located in the area your in you may have a difficult time choosing where to smoke. This is why there is a rating system. The rating system contains 2 variables: class and reliability. Class is ranked A - E, with E being the most comfortable, relaxing and scenic area to smoke, and A being an uncomfortable, boring and non relaxing place to smoke. The second variable, reliability, has a different meaning than is implied. Reliability, when referring to an SCP, means chance of being caught or found in the act of smoking. A reliability rating ranges from 1 - 5, with 5 being an area that you are very unlikely to be caught at, and 1 being an area with a high chance of being caught. A rating is expressed like class E5 or class D3. Now, when its time to make a decision of where you want to smoke its a much easier decision because you can choose an area that fits you mood. If your on edge and want to have an exhilerating experience, you may want to choose an are with low reliability so that the stakes are raised.
Def. Cont. : Note: an area cannot be proclaimed an SCP until you have actually smoked there, until you have smoked there it must be known as a PSCP (posible stoner checkpoint)

Alright man so I'm feeling the Class E4 SCP on the log bridge by the pipe line this time." "Yeah man, same. I just want to relax and look out on to the water.
