absolutley one of the worst countries in the world, people say how its wonderful and stuff...those people are usually retired and senile. The truth is if you live here and are foreign, you are most likey to get robbed many times, and hated. Country of no civilization. Downtown san jose is like the worst capital city in the world. Very poor country.
Person age 84: Im retired and im going to the paradise country of costa rica its so beautiful.
person age under 50: Are you insane? that place is more dangerous than the usa plus its poor.

A woman who has scarred confidence and little courage , but has a lot of faith and perseverance. Who does good but judged. Full of awe and she's silent, but is misunderstood. Too extraordinary to be noticed. You need to go deep to understand her. Her silence is feared. Her smile is rare. Her being boring is fun. You will receive all her love and care.

That moment when you plan a trip to Costa Rica, but fail to ask someone to cover your work responsibilities so you can’t go. Your failure is exemplified by the fact that you got down and dirty to get your colleagues to cover for you and you still failed. Despite appealing to everyone’s good nature, offering favors and even hot sex if they would cover, everyone turned you down. Now the entire office refers to every office faux pas as a “Cost Rica Moment” just to spite you.
RR: How’s it going today guys?
DB: Just took my first deuce in three day’s and flooded out the bathroom. I didn’t fess to it, but everyone knew it was me. I guess it’s just another “Costa Rica Moment”
JK: We’ve all been there.

To get so messed up in a weekend that you find a video of yourself on youtube running for vice president and doing shirtless pushups on a very busy street corner.
1, (see: "costa rica joe" on youtube.com.)
2, Jim doesn't remember last weekend but we Costa Rica Joe'd him so he can enjoy the memory.

"Costa Rica-itis," from the words Costa Rica plus the suffix '-itis,' is the condition in which all you can think about is your upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Kind of like senioritis, but specific to travel in Costa Rica.
I'm sorry, I'm having trouble listening to anything you're saying. I think I might have Costa Rica-itis.

A "Transitional Living Program" based on bureaucratic rules, arbitrary grades, and false promises. At ICR, there are a few key phrases one must understand in order to be successful here.
See if you can follow this easy-to-read translation of staff's favorite phrases and what they actually mean!
"I've been looking into it"---I have not been looking it.
"I'm working very hard on it"--I thought about working on it, once, but let the thought pass.
"We have had budget cuts"--The founder of the program decided to increase his own salary again, siphoning the money from the program's account (which the students pay for)
"We have to walk to the gym today"--The founder of the program got drunk and passed out in the van somewhere far away, rendering it useless for transporting the group.
"It's not about THEM, it's about YOU!"--I do not know what to tell you, but I read somewhere that telling you this will be helpful.

If a student at ICR, Introspections Costa Rica, says, "The overwhelming amounts of negativity and complaining from the other students are beginning to effect my attitude," (s)he will be told, "It's not about THEM, it's about YOU!"
If a student says, "I've been asking you daily for two weeks to get this issue solved," (s)he will be told, "I'm working on it."
If a student says "You told me two weeks ago you had this figured out," s(he) will be told, "I've been looking into it."
