A ragdoll with; brown to red yarn hair, painted or button eyes, pale or beige skin, and a usually blue dotty dress with an apron. Johnny Gruelle, a painter, cartoonist, and more, made the
book 'Raggedy Ann Stories'(1918), the first of a soon to be
hard-hitting franchise. Soon later on, he made the
book 'Raggedy
Andy Stories'(1920), which introduces Ann's brother, Raggedy Andy. Dolls were made of the characters, even being sold to this day(with different brands selling of course-).
