RX 9070 XT

def:
AMD's newest installment in the Radeon graphics processing units, released in Q1 2025.

UD def:
a graphics card that beats the shit out of Nvidia's RTX 5000 series in price-to-performance, while keeping the very good performance. also, it doesn't feature melting cables - you need only three 8-pin connectors.
example:
A: so I decided to build my first high-end PC, while I was keeping an eye for an MSRP 5090 or a 4090, I thought of choosing the RX 9070 XT instead. what's your thought?
B: good choice. Ngreedia on purpose added planned obsolescence by introducing the 16-pin 12VHPWR cable which melts after some time. what's worse, the 5000 series are even more power hungry so that means their cables will suffer even more!
A: hearing you made me feel even better about purchasing one. gonna keep my PC and house safe from potential fire!
C (extremist Nvidia fanboy): Wtf!!11!11!!!1! y w0ld us3 th4t piece 0f 5h17!!!1!1!1!! amd b4d dr1v3rs and high idling power!!! y0u're PC w1ll cra5h in l1ke... 10 second...
A and B: stfu. we just know how to effectively spend money on parts. go back to your basement, buy an overpriced 5090 and defective i9-14900k for some internet points on your next post.
