Potential Man

A fictional character with an incredible amount of potential that is never fulfilled. Originated from the Jujutsu Kaisen character Megumi Fushiguro, who possessed a power called the "Ten Shadows" that had such potential that the character fully reached.

guy 1: "dude this megumi guy is actually stupid"

“A potential man” is a new term used in agenda to slander a character who, throughout the story, is stated to have the potential to do X but never reaches that potential, thus remaining a potential man.

Megumi from Jujutsu Kaisen is the prime example of a “potential man.” Throughout the series, the amount of potential he has is constantly mentioned, but he never lives up to that potential, ultimately remaining a potential man.
