Post Cancer Hoe Phase: An indefinite period of time, typically after (though possibly during) pronged cancer treatment, wherein the patient (or "hoe") enjoys copious coitus due to a newfound lease on life, a scorn for social norms, or a peak in libido following a long hiatus.

Post Cancer Hoe Phase - noun (slang)

A period of time following cancer treatment, wherein the patient takes excessive pleasure in sexual activities, often with several different partners. PCHP mostly occurs after treatment, but some "hoes" experience the phenomenon already during treatment.

Reasons for the PCHP to kick in include but are not limited to: an IDGAF attitude after staring death in the eye, sexual organs no longer being painfully impacted by treatment, overcompensating for previous months of drug-induced neutropenia and loss of sexual drive.

The term gained popularity thanks to @thecancerpatient, an anonymous individual behind an online community of cancer patients who find support in exchanging about cancer related topics such as the PCHP and dealing with cancer-muggles.

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
