Opalite marriage

When a person marries someone they’re either not attracted to or not in love with for social appearances. Opalite is a man-made glass stone that looks like real opal. Like its namesake stone, an opalite marriage it is a cheap manufactured farce that mimics the real thing.

Similar to a lavender marriage, but for straight people. An opalite marriage can be a mutual public relations decision, or a dubious individual tricking an unsuspecting person who really loves them.
The bride and bridesmaids wore great gowns, beautiful gowns; what a shame it’s just an opalite marriage.
