Northwood college

Northwood college is a girls private school in northwest London . Girls that go to the senior school here know that all sixth form ers are shorter than the year 7s, as said in any and every head girl and house captain voting speech. The years carry backpack s twice their size and make slime and fantasise about unicorns. The year 8s are out of that stage and now moving on to talk to boys after the 2 or less discos they have had with the neighbouring boys schools (John lyons, Mts). Year 9s are continuously beefing each other, rms +sth girls, and rolling up their skirts so high they get 'dresscoded' . Year 10s and above rule the school and everything they do displays how other schools view Northwood college. Of course there are some that do not follow the stereotype, the smart kids, the musical kids or the art kids etc. But those only exist in few numbers in their natural habitat of the briary or PAC...

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
